The Toyota Venza is a midsize crossover SUV that Toyota initially sold from 2008 to 2017. After a short hiatus, the Venza made a comeback for the 2021 model year. Marketed by Toyota as a vehicle that blends the styling and comfort of a passenger car with the flexibility of an SUV, the Toyota Venza is a three-row crossover that’s smaller than the Highlander.

The 2024 Toyota Venza is an all-hybrid lineup, featuring a 2.5-liter I4 hybrid engine that produces 219 hp and 163 pound-feet of torque. Trim options include LE, XLE, Nightshade, and Limited. Although it might lack some power compared to other midsize crossover rivals, it provides great gas mileage at 40 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 39 mpg combined.

Toyota Venza Premium Features

While the base LE trim offers a host of neat inclusions, such as a leather steering wheel and an 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, consider upgrading to the Limited for top-tier luxury. Standard features of the 2024 Toyota Venza Limited include heated and ventilated power seats, a heated leather steering wheel, perforated SofTex seat trim, and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen with premium audio, dynamic navigation, as well as a 9-speaker JBL sound system with subwoofer and amplifier.

Is the Toyota Venza Bigger than a RAV4?

In terms of size, the Venza is curiously placed in between the Highlander and the RAV4. The 2024 Venza is longer at 186.6 inches compared to the 2024 RAV4’s length of 180.9 inches. The latest Venza is also heavier by roughly 500 pounds. Despite being bigger, the Venza still provides better gas mileage owing to its hybrid engine. The 2024 RAV4 Hybrid is a different story, though, which is rated at near identical EPA numbers with the 2024 Venza.
